COGNITIVE EVALUATION DISCUSSION & RESEARCH

Scientific research has proven that Cognitive changes start in the brain 20 years before showing up in everyday life. The CerebroCore Cognitive Evaluations are designed to uncover cognitive changes before they become symptomatic! Detecting cognitive changes before they manifest as symptoms, allows for early intervention that may help maintain or improve memory and cognitive performance later in life. Research has proven that early interventions in the form of Cognitive Exercises, Coherence Training and Lifestyle Changes will optimize your memory and reduce your risk of Alzheimer’s.

The CerebroCore Cognitive Evaluations are not diagnostic. They are designed to screen for more serious memory issues and to use as a baseline to measure memory improvement. These unique online digital memory evaluations provide a complete mental evaluation, designed to screen, evaluate the possibility of memory and attention impairment, and to monitor progress throughout the program.

What are Cognitive Evaluations?

Cognitive Evaluations are fast, easy-to-use, and accurate ways to assess memory, determine a training program, evaluate progress, and screen for more serious memory issues. These evaluations strategically test for impairment of memory and attention.  Before implementing a cognitive training program an initial Cognitive Evaluation should be administered to assess the baseline level of cognitive capabilities.  The evaluation should also be administered every 30 days to measure patient progress.

Why are Cognitive Evaluations Necessary?

Memory loss is a common concern among older adults, but it is not an inevitable part of cognitive aging.  Research findings suggest that behavioral interventions may help individuals maintain or improve memory and cognitive performance in later life.  The challenge for the clinician is to assess an individual to best determine which type of memory training program may be most beneficial.  In addition, the initial evaluation will serve as a baseline for all subsequent evaluations as the individual progresses through the cognitive training program.  This will provide a gauge for monitoring patient progress.

What are CerebroCore Cognitive Evaluations?

The CerebroCore Cognitive Evaluation is a professional instrument designed to assess the manifestation of symptoms associated with memory and attention.  This unique online digital memory evaluation provides a complete mental evaluation, designed to screen, evaluate the possibility of memory and attention impairment, and to monitor progress throughout the program.  The detailed report is automatically generated once the test is completed, which can take around 15-20 minutes to complete.  The results report is automatically available as soon as the test is completed.

The CerebroCore Cognitive Evaluation is not a diagnostic tool but can be used to screen for the initial symptoms related to memory loss conditions.  Evaluation scores below 300 should be referred out for further evaluation.  In addition, the CerebroCore Cognitive Evaluation should be administered every 30 days during the course of the Memory Exercise program.

There are 9 CerebroCore Cognitive Evaluations designed to evaluate the different aspects of memory and attention including:

Each evaluation has a specific score that can be compared to normative data.  The Global Memory Score is the average of all 9 evaluations and provides a representation of overall cognitive performance.
